YouTube Channel
As RAID continue to grow we are adding to our teaching resources available at no additional cost to our instructors, divemasters and students. Recently we have been working hard to create open circuit skills videos that complement the RAID Open Water 20 course materials for students. These can be found, along with other useful videos, on the Dive RAID YouTube channel.
The videos break down the skills into step-by-step guides for students to watch before their confined sessions or as a resource when a student is struggling with a particular skill.
On the YouTube channel you can also find a great video from the RNLI on diver safety. This video can be used as a educational resource for all level of diver and can be shared on social media or embedded onto your dive centre website.
Calling for help and visibility on the surface
This video makes up part of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI UK) sponsored Sea Survival program. Being seen on the surface and knowing how to call for help once on the surface, are of vital importance when diving. This video discusses both points from a surface supervision and rescue point of view, and not merely form a diver perspective.
